Happy Lunar New Year!
Happy Chinese New Year to all!
Just had my reunion dinner and since I have some time to spare before hitting Chinatown, just thought I might just write a short blog. haha...well went to vivocity last night alone and tried to do some last min shopping but nonetheless could get or rather find any clothes that I like because well I guess its too last minute so I am going to do visiting the next 4 days in the clothes I already bought and well thank God I made some good buys previously...haha..not to mention my 2 pairs of True Religion Jeans.. :)
Spent the entire afternoon packing my room and clearing it of many documents, papers, files and other stuff that I don't need; swept the floor using the MagicClean and I can tell you that the magic clean is one of the best inventions that man had ever invented..haha..why? because you don't have to wet it like a mop but its still as efficient as one!..hahaha...people who know me well will tell you that I have a penchant for cleanliness and orderliness..especially in my room so once I start to clean up my room, I will leave no corners unclean!..haha!
Anyway my room is looking so much more airy and larger now after the cleanup!..
Recently, I have got a new revelation. On many occassions, I have an impression in my heart that if I want to achieve different results, then I must be prepared to do things differently. As simple as it may sound, but its really true isn't it?..many a times, we all want to have different results such as getting the promotion or getting attached but we are not prepared to do things differently!..haha..so ironic isn't it?
So I can imagine God in heaven going shaking His head whenever He sees us reacting in the same manner, doing things the same way whenever He gives us a new chance or opportunity!..hahah!..so the bottomline is do things differently if you want to acheive a different result!
If you are:
Impatient -> Be Patient
Rude -> Be Courteous
Walk in Sin -> Quit those habits and walk in Righteouness
Fearful -> Be fearless and have the confidence of God
Doubtful -> Learn not to doubt and fully trust in Him
Insecure -> Obtain the everlasting security in Him
Looking for Love -> Look to God first as He is the source of all Love
Personally, I have to learn to do things differently and approach various things in a different light if I want to continue to climb the ladder of success in my career and in relationships!. Of course I still want to get promoted and get attached but I am determined that if God were to open up a door for me now, I am going to be prepared and enter through the door in a different light!
At the end of the day, He is the provider of the very breath we take right?
Lets trust in Him in everything that we do!
