Crushes.
hi friends,
been quite some time since i blogged because am super duper busy in school, with ongoing projects to handle, ad-hoc things to do and students to settle..their arguements, projects, problems etc etc..sometimes the truth is that i will expect students to come and tell me that they cannot work with this person or that person but you got to LEARN how to work with them. I mean no one is ever perfect and even a group is perfect, when you enter into the group, it will become imperfect because of you! right? So you got to learn and adapt to learn and work with other people with other types of character traits. I like what one of the teacher in Damai told me; even if you cannot work with some people in the school, just do it on a PROFESSIONAL level! That means work with them, meet their needs professionally without even being their friend and knowing them more. Of course, i would like to know them more but some people are so closed up..so what to do?
teaching in damai is truly fun and truly enjoyable i would say. I mean kids nowadays ain't the same as what we used to be. coming from an all boys school, i didn't had the chance or opportunity to have crushes on my classmates (as they were all boys!) and thus its really interesting to just take a step back and observe how students nowadays get in and out of relationships; no doubt some are really serious but most of them are just for fun. and the funniest thing is that when i find out about one party's interest in another, they (mostly boys) will pretend and act macho as if nothing has happened!..haha! wheras the girls will go blushing!
haha! i just want to make my stand clear; its ok to befriend classmates of the opposite gender and get to know them more but if you are planning to take the plunge into the unknowns of a r/s, you got to seriously consider if you're ready for one.
More updates to come; waiting for my train of thoughts to come in. :) Ciao!
