A Simple Life
Been talking about finding ur purpose in life in my previous blog and i feel that its time to put words into action by defining how to be able to find ur purpose in life...was walking home yesterday after meeting my choir ic for a short talk and i felt the following words come out of my mouth.
A simple man leads a simple life.
A simple life doesn't neccessary refer to a life that is poor, unfulfilled, unhappy, depressed.
Thats what the world percieves a simple life to be.
A God-filled simple life is one that is focused, stripped of all unneccessary distractions of life, being able to be focused on serving the Creator of all creators, God himself. If a person is able to do just that, the bible says "Seek Him and His righteousness first, and all you need would be added on to you"
The world tries to satisfy and fill the void in the spirit by surrounding itself with latest fashion, cars, credit cards, houses, mistresses and by doing so, life becomes complicated and the person becomes enslaved to many forms of idolatry and sin.
How then could you free yourself from all these?
How then can you acheive your maximum potential?
Be focused on the right focus! Focus on God alone. Serve Him and the leaders He has placed above you in your life with all your heart. Come before Him each time with no pre-tense, no pre-concieved motives or ideas, no pre-calculated moves or aims. Juz come before Him with a pure, simple heart that cries out:
"Abba Father, i love You!"
Lets try doing it in our own daily lives. I am trying to do so too.
God bless you.
