Feeling a Tinge of Sadness...
Next week marks week 02 of term 04. Effectively the end of the academic year i would say. This past week, as i am taking the classes, as i have always done so since Jan, i felt sad and some of my students noticed it too. No doubt there were times that i was angry with them because of their less than enthus atttitude with their work, but there were also times that i really enjoyed teaching them because of their willingness to learn.
How contradicting can i get?
I felt sad because i know some of them will not be able to make it to Sec 2 next year or even thet did, they might be changing stream from Express to NA. Spoke to some of them during the classes, some looked and felt they should have tried harder, and well some, still displaying the look of non-chalence.
I felt sad because i might not be taking them next year because of a possible career switch or academic arrangements. These students to me, are unique because they have their own individual personalities that you can only discover when u sit down and talk to them personally. Awesome.
Well, it would be a matter of time (2 weeks more) before i won't be seeing them much anymore. Yes, if you ask me now, will i miss them? Yes, i do..haha!~ Being a teacher to me means laying down your life for your students, giving them personalised attention, together at the same time, managing the class as a whole. You might be wondering why am i always blogging about my profession?...well i guess, i like it lots!..haha...
Aniwae, am also planning a combined outing with the best groups from each Sec 1E class (6 gps in total of 30++ people)..haha..maybe to pizza hut or somewhere to reward them for their hardwork..haha..can't imagine the look on the waiters' and waitresses' faces when they see us..haha..ya..really looking forward to it..hahah..
Today met dearie and bought her mac breakfast..hee...very sorrie that i woke up late..hee..but still managed to meet her and send her to work..my dear is looking so awesomely beautiful!..her sense of style..wow wow!...haha..missing her so much now...haha...
Well, gotta go back to my books and lab tasks before i head off to sing for CHC Choir!..haha.. talk to you guys again~!
