Worship: An expression of extravagence
last night's service was simply phenomenal. As part of the choir and later joining the congregation, God's presence was very tangible and thick, as Pst Kong would have described it, you can literally use a knife to slice through the presence of God. Before i went for service, i was praying at home that i will experience a personal spiritual breakthrough later in the evening and all i wanted was to touch the hem of His garment once more...and i did! Praise God!...the constant vision that i had when worshipping Him during service is that a royal blue robe would sweep past the entire b4 auditorium, covering every single member with His presence, comfort and annoiting.
No words can describe how i feel last night. Totally and totally blown away!
As i was worshipping on stage, the presence of God juz touched me and its as though He is just next to me! God gave me visions to train and to disciple my students, who have been attending church and service regularly so that they could in turn train and disciple more friends of theirs! Wow!
I don't want to be a professional 'Saturday on duty' Christian. I want to live out His zoe-life every day of my life!
Pastor preached about the importance of waiting upon the Lord and service is not just hype and passion, but its really about going after God's own heart, what He wants for you in your life and how lowly are you willing to humble yourself, forgo your pride and say "Lord, here i am, use me to glorify Your name"
Last night's service was refreshing also because i went with an expectant and light heart. For a long time, whenever i attended service, my heart is heavy because of work , studies and so on and thus it could not recieve God's annoiting and presence directly. But God is good! Yesterday was totally different after praying and even as i was on my way to church, my heart was light.
His burden is easy to bear and His yoke is light.
Another breakthrough last night....after 2 weeks of waiting due to inability to give over the Internet and had services over at SIS last week, so didn't had access to the nets kiosk, i FULFILLED MY BUILDING FUND!!!!!!!!...hahahah!
Praise God! Tell you something, i felt SO RELIEVED after the transaction went through!..haha
Yay!..V Happy because i know that God would be pleased with me! Not so much of being proud that i have fulfilled but i am happy because i am truly blessed that i managed to dig out from my savings to fulfil the b.f last night!
Worship: An expression of extravagence. Its true, isn't it?
