Emerge. Come forth
hi friends,
after a 2-3 day absence, i am back blogging again..hahaha..well, juz thot that i drop by to blog before i commence with my projects and work later...well, what do i have to blog about today?
last night's service was great, if not awesome..sometimes i personally feel that its really inspiring to see Pst Kong preach 6 services a week every week non stop!..wow..although i've been attending chc for the past 4 years, i have never got tired or bored of his messages because they're so fresh and always gives me a new revelation of who i am in God's eyes! Pst preached about the importance of finances and how limited ppl could be w/o the provision of finances, i totally agree with him and i'm sure many of you would too..simply because we have been through the 'student' era of our lives where we r often limited by the lack of finances in our lives..however, saying about being limited doesn't mean we cannot do great things for God..we still can and as I've found out after giving for the last 3 arise and build campaigns, GOD ALMIGHTY often shows up in the bleakest and darkest moments of all..when we choose to step out in faith, He will choose to meet up with us!
i remember the last time i gave to arise and build was in 2002...during my attachment with OCBC Bank...that time we were still at hollywood and every weekend, pst would rally the congregation to give sacrificially to the building fund and here we r right now, at the result of the leadership's dream and vision; FULFILLED.
Miracles, Favour of man, Blessings upon blessings poured into my life as I gave to the A & B fund! Though the next 6 months is going to be tough, but God will always be my and your provider all the days of our lives!
Lets move from the survival mentality to the overflowing abundance mentality! Amen!
Right now, i am very happy for dearie..who went for an interview with an recruitment agency last week and got shortlisted for a starhub job that pays really well!.. i admire her for being such a woman of God that she is right now and will become in the future...despite all the lacks in her life, she is still pressing into the presence of God everytime, wearing that assuring smile everyday!
Thats y i always feel so BLESSED when i am with her..haha..thank God for you! Muacks!
My mood right now; happy and free! Can't wait for the arise and build to come and start giving! Its awesome to be in a church that we know is graced by God's presence everyday! Thats wat makes CHC different from other churches, not the size of the congregation, but the size of the faith of the people!
We do have other churches in SG that are relatively huge in congregation attendance..but i truly believe that CHC would stand out, head over shoulders amongst the rest because we know who we r living for.
The future is unfolding right now in front of our eyes...i can't wait to grab hold of it tog with dear...with my friends to move into the future tog!
