Godly Pursuits. Material Pursuits
Can we have both? Or can we only have one? This past few weeks where I have not been blogging...well, pretty much due to the same reasons again..busy busy busy...sorry for not updating my blog as often as I would liked to....
Well, couple of things had happened in the past week or so...hmm...lets start with last week shall we?...last week was Pst Ulf's conference!...well, attended 2 nights out of 3 in total...first night gotta squeezzze through the never ending crowd from level 1 to b4..hahaha...well, gave up my seat to a lady who came in late..was actually about to sit down along the staircases when dearie called me and told me that there was a seat...well, it turned out to be a seat on the stairs too!..hahaha..well, at least, can get to sit with my dearie...so sweet and thoughtful of her... :)

Sometimes, we do have our differences..but then again, which couple doesn't have?..hahaha...if every couple's behavior or character is the same..then the relationship would be downright boring right?..i guess thats why God made everyone UNIQUE beings!..some being more unique in the positive manner and some..well..negative manner....
Weekends pretty much mundane nowadays though...always rushing for class..on both sat and sun..after that..going for church svc..haha..thats why...singing for choir and meeting up with God and my friends are always the highlights of my weekend i suppose...and the rare chance of going out with my dearie every once in a while..though we can't spend much..but I just love her to bits..heeee...went to visit my dearie's mum last week in hosptial...went thru a minor op...so happy to see her recovering and still having the joy of the Lord inside of her!..haha...
i guess its really the presence of God and serving that keeps me in church...sometimes feel bad about not having time to fellowship with my cgm..sorrie guys, hope you understand. Thats why there is always a feeling of drifting away...except for the few close friends i have..hmm..rono, jinzhi, cuiqi, keith, yanni, max...thats abt all though..
well...back to my main title...pursuits; Godly and Material...hmmm...was actually thinking quite a lot these past few days...there are so many things i wanna do, buy, get right now..but often, due to financial constraints...gotta save up for wedding, house and so on..can't really do it now though..sigh..still the same pair of jeans...shirt...sometimes, all i wear in a week to sch for work is always the same few shirts...disgusting. Except for choir, can dress up a little.
I look forward to the day where i can freely buy things w/o constraints...top of the list being nice clothes..from zara..AX...hahaha...really like those clothes...always walked past them with my dearie in taka...but then again...whats the pt of going in?..where all the shirts are so ex..hahaha...also...fulfilling my dearie's long time wish...a BEAGLE!..i heard you my love...shouting "yes yes!" in the bg...we will get one k?..muacks!...
went to visit the mini cooper website tog...wow!..i tell you..the car is simply awesome man...so cool, sleek...the truth is..in this kind of a weather in sg..sometimes hot, sometimes downpour...an umbrella is never enough man..even so, we GUYS will be deemed SISSy for holding one above our heads...but then again..i never like to perspire but i really do..sometimes a lot..until ppl can ask me "glenn, you just bathed ar?"..oh man..disgusting.
thats why, a car with EXCELLENT air-con would be an ideal for me!..heee....Mini Cooper, my dream car for the moment... :)
well, today didn't know that there was a CA (Common Assesement) for Sec 1 and 2...rushed down in cab...that basically mean i have to skip lunch today and maybe bring bread tom..hahaha...reached the lab..waited and waited..no one came..man....
time check now is 10.05 am in the morning..still raining..i am practically freezing the lab..with 3 AIRCONs blasting at the same time...brrrrr....cold...hahahah...that all I have to say till now..to my dearie, can't wait to take a walk with you tonite!..to my cgm..cya on friday guys!...to the rest, God bless ya!
