Beneath the facade.
hi friends,
its me again...been about a week since i last blogged..hahahaa..sorry man...been busy with work, HOMEwork, choir & cg...catching up with friends over the phone etc..hahah..well all in all, sorry for not blogging..
OK!..what am i going to write for today?..hmmm..right now, just had my lunch...rather filling..so thought that might as well use this time to do some constructive work..hahaha..writing blog constructive meh?..hahah..well, if its not, then millions of people over the world write and update their blog daily...
well well...hope you like my new blog design..black, sliver and green..hmm..ozzes a sense of classiness..hahha...well, if you might have notice..my title is "Beneath the facade"..
well, thats the end of my introduction.
some days ago...a new neighbour moved into a newly built house..quite near to my house..but not very near...juz say its walkable...and guess what?..the very next day...they placed an altar outside their front door..those typical reddish metal stuff...yup..you r right..so distasteful...sigh..sometimes i juz wonder...where does the word 'dysfunctional' come about?..but wherever it might come from..this word alone does describe the entire lives of some ppl...those who know but choose not to know the truth...what do a person exactly gets out from worshipping idols?..pardon me for keep touching on this subject because there are people out there in the world with 2 perfect eyes to see and watch but yet their spiritual eyes are shut closed!...
what does a person get out from worshipping idols?..PEACE? SATISFACTION? HAPPINESS?!...all the bullshit. Let me tell you something k?...WAKE UP!. Sometimes whenever i walk home..for those of u who came to my place before..u shld know that you have to walk quite long..FYI, i stay in terrace houses..yup..juz in case u r wondering "ehhh...no lift meh?"..hahah...well, i will pass by nice , big house often with a merc or lexus parking inside..everything seems so perfect..my mind would naturally tell me or hint to me..this family must be a christian one!..God's abundance and blessing in their lives! Guess what?..next thing i see, idols. Why?..seriously..no wonder they are always trapped in frustration...sadness...fake happiness...illness...hopelessness...singaporeans used to pride themselves to be Dr so and so...or Prof so and so...but as long as they r not christians and chose to put their lives into some other religion..YOU ARE STUPPPPPIIID!.
pardon me for being blunt because that is the only way to talk to ppl like that. everyday or night when i walk home, i would always ask myself..would they ever recieve God into their lives?..sometimes, when you r in your own comfort zone..your heart seems to be contented and thus closed up to the gospel...until something real bad comes along the way and jolt you out of your sleep...then u realised. This is the answer to some of u who keep asking EVERY SINGLE DAY...why does this and that happen to me?..simply because your idol can't even protect you from it!
Friends..if you r saved and serving in church, Praise God for that!..but if you r not...i am nt saying that you r a failure or anything(thats reserved for ppl who know but chose not to believe), stop everything that you're doing now and think for a sec. What am i doing with my life?..is this life mine?..(i know some of us might have the song "its my life!" playing in ur head)..but seriously..where does ur very next breath come from?..nope, not the air. From Abba Father, God himself.
Doesn't really matter if you r poor or rich, smart or not, outgoing or not..the thing is that God can make you to be a better person. If you r already doing well in life, God can give you more success. People who worship idols, go to mediums..might strike toto or lottery and be rich. But the Bible say that the prosperity of the unsaved brings sorrow and anger..ain't that true?..everyday you read news about property disputes etc..inheritance problems..
Ain't you sick of what u r doing now?..Friends, no one is perfect. Neither am i. But we serve or can serve a PERFECT GOD if you choose to. We didn't come from the loins of monkeys. GOD created every person in an unique manner...even twins behave differently...who do you want to be?...You can never live a complete life without GOD almighty my friends..Think about it.
