Wednesday, 19 January 2005. Mid week. Everything else as usual except for one.
As I alighted from bus 51 at Eunos, i took a look up towards the sky and guess what I saw? A beautiful stream of thin clouds, resembling a rainbow, stretching across the horizon! What a beautiful sight! Wow!
Many a times, we tend to exalt the works of famous people, actors, directors as extraordinary. But think about it, where do they get these ideas from? Where do artist paint their scenery pictures from? Imagination? Nope, they painted it while sitting by the side of a lake or reservior in local context.
So as we go down the road, we will eventually realised that all things that we see, hear, smell, taste and touch are all from God Almighty! What a designer!..Being a graphic designer myself, i often stand in awe whenever i see a great piece of art or design when i am out. However, just like you, i have always fallen short of giving the eventual glory to God himself.
When we turn our eyes from all the frustration and anger in the world, we can then truly focus on appreciating the things that God has created. Praise God!
So next time when you come across a beautiful sight, take a moment and realised no matter are you well off or poor, healthy or sick, single or attached, you are truly blessed.
