Heart Laden
hi friends...today is wed 15th dec...went to the gym in hougang juz now and had a fairly well workout...haha..been such a long time since i went to one and to be frank, i was quite impressed with what i saw..strong aircon..nice music..new equipment..all for $2.50!..hahaha...for a person who is still looking for a job, thats quite a catch..aniwae, 3 more days till my exams..seems like i have covered all that i need to study but still feeling kinda nervous...sigh..how i wish the exam is already over..it kinda distracting at times because u want to concentrate to do other stuff but at the back of ur mind, you keep asking yourself if you've covered all the areas that u need to cover...aRghh!....
my heart is laden because my dad is going for an op this friday at 12.30pm at gleneagles..so if you r reading this, do keep him in prayer..apparently, there is some problem with his intenstine that is causing pain..so the doc said got to remove it...thanks in advance for your prayers!...
the 2nd reason is after a chat with one of my male friends in choir yesterday, he told me as this week, Pst Sy Rogers will be coming down to preach for the youth svcs..and he is bringing some of his effeminate friends down for svc..he was asking mi if Pst Rogers were to call for an altar call for people who want to get their lives right in this area and if they were to respond...would WE as mature christians be able to praise God for their boldness..or would we stand at the sidelines and murmur?..
sometimes its really so easy to praise God, lift up hands in church, shout Hallelujah to everything and anything that Pst Kong preaches but to be a REAL CHANGED disciple of Christ beyond church walls, it would require not just courage, but maybe ur friendships too ya?...coming to this pt, i've just realised again how Awesome GOD is to us, that He accepts us no matter how we were in the past...i don't think any of you reading this could ever do this to everyone that you know in ur lifetime.. :)
for me, i just want to be like King David, a man after God's own heart. till then, cya again...do pray for my exams and my dad's health ya?..tks a lot and God bless ya!
